Established on 8 January 1957 as a chapter of the national Association of the United States Army (AUSA), we are Southwest Oklahoma’s Superpower for Soldiers—a nonprofit 501(c)(3) association composed of members of the military (all ranks, active, National Guard/Reserves, retirees), corporate executives, community leaders and other civilians who:
- Support the US Army as America’s premiere landpower in its role to protect and defend the citizens of America and their interests abroad under the Constitution.
- Serve as an advocate for Soldier/Family issues and needs in Southwest Oklahoma.
- Promote the development of the Fires Center of Excellence as the home of the world’s most powerful fires in support of US forces in full-spectrum operations in all environments.
- Contribute to the quality of life in Southwest Oklahoma as an integral part of its constituency.
